ILAC "International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation"

The International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC) is the greatest international cooperation organization for accredited laboratories and verification units (inspection bodies). More than 70 countries and regional bodies form ILAC.

ILAC’s main objectives are:

• To promote the acceptance of conformity assessments provided by bodies accredited by its members.
• To influence the development of accreditation procedures and processes for laboratories and verification units (inspection bodies).

ema is a signatory to the Mutual Recognition Agreement (MRA) of ILAC for testing laboratories, calibration laboratories, and verification units (inspection bodies).
