IAF "International Accreditation Forum"

The International Accreditation Forum is the world forum for Accreditation Bodies and organizations interested in Conformity Assessment (certification bodies) in the fields of management systems, products, services and personnel. Its members are made up from more than 52 Accreditation Bodies from 50 countries and 4 Regional Bodies.

IAF’s main objectives are, to:

Ensure that all members around the world recognize the accreditations provided to a certification body by other IAF members.
Establish Multilateral Recognition Arrangements amongst its members, assuring that accredited certificates may be relied upon anywhere in the world.

Until today, IAF has signed Multilateral Recognition Arrangements with more than 40 accreditation bodies around the world.

In 2001, ema signed the Multilateral Recognition Arrangement (MLA) with IAF in the field of Quality Management Systems. And in 2004, signed the MLA for Product and Environment Management Systems.

In 2014, ema signed the Multilateral Recognition Arrangement (MLA) with IAF in GlobalGAP.
